Hello!

Brock Ceramics is a collection of functional wheel-thrown art designed to be a little bit playful, and maybe even a little bit raunchy at times.

All pieces are concepted, designed and hand-thrown on the wheel by me (Emily Brockie) from locally sourced clay in Auckland, New Zealand.

Whilst I'm a minimalist in most aspects of life, when it comes to art I’m drawn to everything colourful and loud (lately you'll find me working with neon greens, barbie pinks, and gritty blacks). I love to experiment with curvaceous forms - sometimes things go to plan, sometimes they don’t. Those are often my favourites.

Winner of the People’s Choice Award for the 2022 Quarry Ceramic Art Awards.
